Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! This will be my part one of a two part series about what I learned throughout this blogging experience. Before I started this blog there were some things that I thought I knew about blogging. Before starting my blog I thought it would be really easy to get your point across through the actual text within the blog. What I learned, however, is that it is very hard to convey the tone in which you want your message to be heard which can make it tricky when you want to express your certain view point on a particular topic. I also thought it would be easy to find tons of other bloggers already writing about the same stuff I was. I quickly learned that it can be hard to find other link minded individuals who are writing the same sort of blog. Although it was hard to find other bloggers on the same topic, it was very interesting to read and learn about their point of view throughout the semester. As I was going through these blog posts each week I sought to find out how many other blogs were out there that were similar to my stance on video games and the video game industry. It was fun to see some blogs that had been going on for years and the type of influence they have on people who want to learn more about the industry. Throughout my blogging experience I found out that it is actually really hard to get people to visit your site. I learned that if you really want your blog to be successful you really have to put a TON of time into it to really generate interest. All in all it was a fun experience and I am glad that I got to try it out.
